Aberfeldy Whisky Distillery Tours

Distillery Tours Scotland

Aberfeldy Distillery – Dewars

First planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar, Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery is the only Scotch whisky distillery built by the Dewar family. Dewar’s was already a highly successful brand of blended whisky, renowned for its quality, and the company needed more single malt whisky to use in its blend.

Tours of the Highland whisky distillery take place throughout the day, and include tours and tastings for whisky aficionados and beginners alike.

Tour the distillery to see how they create the distinctive honeyed richness of their Aberfeldy spirit. Access the atmospheric warehouse and learn how they double age the whisky for extra smoothness. Explore the interactive exhibition, guided by their bespoke app. Enjoy a tasting of Scotch whisky in our welcoming Whisky Lounge.

Edradour Distillery

Edradour world-renowned as the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland and arguably the most unique. Dating back to 1825, Edradour stands alone as the last stronghold of handmade single malt whisky from a farm distillery still in production today.

Edradour uniquely boasts over 25 distinctive expressions of Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky with their wonderful characters and flavours. Visitors see intimately how the making of this handcrafted ‘Water of Life’ remains a living tradition in the twenty-first century.

Your Guide will introduce you to the Distillery and the art and craft of the whisky maker. You will then be guided around our working Distillery to see the traditional methods of whisky making and maturation, hand-crafted today as it was in Victorian times.
