Day Tour Canyoning Adventure in the Highlands:

A quick look at the Tour:

This Private, Day Tour Canyoning Adventure day is a great way to explore the hidden gems and places of Perthshire.

We will get the day going with your morning pick-up from your hotel or arranged collection point and get the day started as we mean to go on, a short stop off at some local woodlands to stretch our legs and prepare for the day ahead. A great chance to discuss the day’s activities and places.

Then onto the Falls of Acharn on the shores of Loch Tay – jumps, slides and the finale of a two-tier 30m waterfall rappel all set in the stunning woodland gorge, taking your new skills to the next level.

This will be followed by a lunch break with a hearty packed lunch supplied by us on the shores of Loch Tay, and a walk around the historic village of Kenmore – and the stunning Taymouth Castle Estate grounds, avenues of trees, follies and its classic golf course.

We will then round off the day with a Sauna on the shores of Loch Tay looking out over the Loch and Hills surrounding this magical place.

You are then delivered back to your chosen destination relaxed and happy from your adventures (to be discussed on booking).

Day Tour Canyoning Adventure Itinerary

A full days adventure enjoying some of Highland Perthshire’s hidden gems in canyons and gorges and topped off with a lochside Sauna at dusk.

We will get the day going with your morning pick-up from your hotel or arranged collection point by myself in our luxury minibus.

After a wee stop off at some local woodlands for a leg stretch and chat about the day ahead, we will go directly to the heart of Scotland and the Loch Tay area where we find The Falls of Acharn, a spectacular wooded gorge with tumbling waterfalls and stunning pools. Having walked up to the top (via the Hermits cave and views of the falls) we will ascend via the canyon and falls themselves to Loch level, with jumps, slides and the finale of a two-tier 30m waterfall rappel.

With a break for lunch (packed lunch supplied), followed by a relaxed walk around the historic village of Kenmore – and the stunning Taymouth Castle Estate grounds, avenues of trees, follies and its classic golf course.

You will finish off the adventures and activities with a well deserved and welcome Sauna session overlooking Loch Tay, taking in the views of the Loch, surrounding hillsides, ancient loch dwellings, and mysterious islands, time to relax and unwind after a fantastic days adventure.

The sauna Fired by a giant crackling wood burner, lined in aspen and with panoramic windows stretching 40′ along its length, its the perfect place to relax whilst you take in the magnificent views across the Loch & hill ground beyond. You can relax in the fully tiled steam room and let the stresses and strains of everyday life melt away, and then chill out in the Hydro Pool, large enough for 30 people, The perfect place to unwind with a glass of beer or bubbly.

Spending time in these natural environments gives you a chance to unwind and get back to a more natural rhythm, helping you get the most out of your day tour and visit the heartland of Scotland.

You will be returned to your accommodation or to your chosen point of departure.
