This private tour sees you collected from our arranged point – as with all our Private Tours and Private Walking Tours.

Our first stop is at Rumbling Bridge a dramatic gorge and rich scenery, with waterfalls below the River Braan, this short stop will give us a chance to wake up after our drive out of the city and start our wild walks.

Next onto the Falls of Acharn with its wild scenery on the shores of Loch Tay, a beautiful walk set in ancient landscapes makes a circuit around the little ravine, with views of the waterfall from the old hermit’s cave.

Stopping for some lunch (Packed Lunch supplied) at Loch Tay in the central highlands of Scotland we can take a moment to experience the majestic mountains of the highlands, deep glens and forests surrounding.

We then carry on down the Tay Valley to Aberfeldy (famed for its Whisky Distillery among other things) and the famous Birks of Aberfeldy woodland walk and waterfalls, with its rich history it is another great place to walk and enjoy nature – also some fantastic photo opportunities throughout this day trip.

We finish our day tour with a short stop at the Dunkeld Hermitage a cathedral-like atmosphere as you walk alongside the waterfalls, rapids and swirling pools of the River Braan towards Ossian’s Hall and Bridge. Beautiful landscapes, Wild scenery all surrounded by the Scottish Mountains all contribute to creating stunning walking trails and some of the finest walking tours on offer.
